Warm up with library’s annual chill chaser:
the Adult Winter Reading program
Warm up to good books and join in Timberland Regional Library’s 13^th
annual Adult Winter Reading program, running from Saturday, January 2
through Monday, March 15. The program offers the chance to win prizes
just for reading and staying snug all winter.
Brochures with complete rules, entry forms and prize lists will be
available at all Timberland libraries by the last week of December.
Basically, for each five books or audio books you finish during the
program period, complete a form and turn it in at a Timberland library
by Monday, March 15. Participants must be 18 or older and have a current
Timberland library card.
Prizes, including overnight resort getaways and book-and-beverage
baskets, will be drawn on March 22. Local Timberland libraries will
award additional prizes that have been donated by businesses and Friends
of the Library groups.
Ongoing library programs: Story Times
Readiness for reading and school, positive experiences among families
and friends, and growth in the connection between libraries, learning
and joy: these are some of the objectives of library story time programs
